What We Believe

About Us

We’re a family of churches created to Love God, Love People, and Serve the World. We are ONE Church, with 3 locations, offering 5 Sunday morning services.

New Hope Community Church exists to help people find hope. We believe our church has been created to help teach people how to Love God, Love People and Serve the World. At NHCC you will hear relevant biblical teaching that will help you grow in your walk with the Lord. You’ll experience God’s love at NHCC and learn how to share that love with others. We’re a family at New Hope and we’d love for you to join us for our Sunday morning services.

Our Beliefs

WE BELIEVE…The Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.

WE BELIEVE…There is only One True God–revealed in three persons…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity).

WE BELIEVE…In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God’s son Jesus was both human and divine.

WE BELIEVE…though originally good, Man Willingly Fell to Sin–ushering in evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.

WE BELIEVE…Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God Through ‘Salvation’ (trusting Christ, through faith and repentance, to be our personal Savior).

WE BELIEVE…All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ.

We are an Assemblies of God Church and we adhere to the 16 Fundamental Truths of The Assemblies of God. These tenants of faith are based on the truths found in God’s Word, The Bible. Click here to read the full 16 Fundamental Truths.
Our History

Coast Chapel’s story starts over 40 years ago when a group of people gathered to start a church that would be a blessing to the community of Santa Cruz.  Coast Chapel has always been a part of the community of Live Oak, and strives to demonstrate the love of Christ to the community we are part of their our words and actions. In 2017, Santa Cruz joined the New Hope Family of churches.
