On-Site

We would love to see you in-person! Here are some things you should know when you come onsite:

  • Now that CA has reopened, there are no capacity, physical distancing or singing restrictions.
  • The State requires unvaccinated individuals to mask when indoors, unless they qualify for an exception. As per the state guidelines, we will post a notice about the requirement and allow people to self-attest that they are compliant.
  • We do have our service streaming in the Family Room (Nursery Area) for young families as well as our Missions Lounge in the lobby area as an “overflow” space.
  • We invite you to come a little early and enjoy some coffee and treats in the front of our church. We love this time to fellowship with one another!
  • If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call our office at (831) 475-4351.

Thank you friends! We appreciate you help with all of this. We look forward to an awesome Sunday!

What To Expect

We are casual

Dress as you would if you were going to see a good friend. You won’t find many ties and jackets around you at New Hope.

Feel free to talk to people around you before and after the service and the speaker may even encourage some talking in the service as well.

We like to sing

We think we have great worship at New Hope and we hope you will agree when you visit. You don’t have to sing, but the words are up on a big screen so you can sing along if you want to.

We like to connect

We suggest that you arrive five to ten minutes before the service starts so you can get acclimated and meet a few people. The information booth is the best place to start.

The Service will be about 60 minutes including a 30-minute talk from a pastor or guest speaker.

After the service hang around and if you didn’t get to the Connection Table before the service, go there afterwards. We’d love to get you connected.

Thinking about visiting?

We realize it can be uncomfortable to walk into a church for the first time especially when you’re uncertain about what it’s like. Our desire is to help you feel comfortable even before you walk through the doors at New Hope Community Church.

Below is a list of common questions people may have prior to visiting a new church:

Where do I go when I arrive?

We would love for you to arrive a little early to become familiar with our church campus. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our “Welcome Team”. We have a main lobby area where you’ll find more information about the ministries we offer and upcoming events.

How should I dress?

We ask that you come as you are. You will see people dressed in their own style – some will be in jeans and shirts while others may be dressed up. Most are dressed in casual clothes.

What are your services like?

We offer one Sunday morning services. Our service begins with worship – the music is upbeat, energetic and encouraging. Our messages are relevant, biblical messages that are designed to help you grow, learn and simply have a deeper understanding of the Word of God.
